Programme
FOOD. DIGNITY. HOPE.
One of TAC Foundation's longest-standing community-support initiatives, providing meaningful household food support alongside pathways to skills and opportunity.
A Meal A Day is one of TAC Foundation's longest-standing community-support initiatives.
During active programme periods, approximately 30 families per month have received food support. Some beneficiaries have been supported for multiple consecutive months depending on need. Over the lifetime of the initiative, TAC Foundation has supported more than 1,000 families through A Meal A Day and related food-support programmes.
The support has often consisted of meaningful household food packages rather than token meals.
DIGNITY, NOT PITY.
Where possible, food support also connects people with employability, vocational skills, entrepreneurship, education, referrals and practical support.
